“Try not to become a man of success but a man of value.” – Albert Einstein
Success is the vague goal of everyone.
But because it’s our goal – we work directly towards it.
The truth is… it doesn’t work out most of the time.
Why? Because success is a by-product. It’s not the primary product, it’s actually a secondary result caused by transmitting value.
Value is the first priority. And success will naturally follow.
Many of us approach life in the wrong mindset for success, our eyes are all set at the wanted result and not on the cause of our wanted result.
We’re wrong because the only way to find real success is by understanding why and how the result can happen.
Examples of the wrong mindset
- You’re always thinking about how to make more money, rather than thinking where you can offer value to others and find a way to get paid for it.
- Rather than speaking just for the sake of speaking (making noise), speak only when you have something valuable and constructive to say.
- Winning at a competition or some bet – winning isn’t always victory, you may win a bet, but you may lose a friend or harm one’s reputation in return. (think about your values and qualities)
Don’t begin your focus on success, begin from value.
Success if a by-product, it’ll naturally follow you if you are a man of value.
